Failed to start recording.
If you see this error, something is probably blocking Screencastify from recording. Please close the tab you are trying to record and re-open it. If you are trying to record you desktop, please try to restart Chrome.
If this does not help, something on your system may be blocking it from capturing audio. Please try again after restarting your computer. This should resolve problems with blocked audio devices in almost all cases.
If Screencastify still fails to record after restarting your computer, please submit a bug report.
A current Chrome bug prevents Desktop recording when with "Record Desktop" when choosing to record a Chrome window. As a workaround, you choose to record "Entire Desktop" or use Tab recording instead until this is fixed in Chrome.
